What is bluelight?

About Bluelight

All visible light we see contains the entire color spectrum of the rainbow. Within that spectrum are blue light waves, between 400-500nm.

While the biggest source of blue light is the sun, it also comes from fluorescent lights, lamps, and the screens all round us.

Blue light signals our body that it is time to be awake. It energizes us and makes us more alert. Great for daytime.

However, we have been increasingly exposed to blue light in the evening, which suppresses melatonin, the sleep hormone, and disrupts our bodies natural sleep/wake cucle, our circadian rhythm.
